Tomato 'Wrap'ped with Chole

Ok, I agree this doesn't come under 'Tiffin' section, but this is what we had today morning for breakfast - yummy MW chole and lettuce with some hot n sour sauce & green chilli sauce wrapped up in a Tomato wrap.

...I had some left over chole which I made in MW yesterday ( didn't send to MEC: Gravies as it was more dry-type than gravy-type..) in the fridge and also few Tomato wraps which we got from grocery store last weekend.

This was the perfect way to get rid of all the left over stuff - in a Yumm-O way.

Since, our 'Tiffin' involved MWed chole, I am tempted to send this for Srivalli's MEC:Tiffin event. Hopefully she will accept it.. fingers crossed!

For preparing Chole:

1. In a MW safe bowl, heat some oil for about 1 min.
2. Then add cumin seeds, chopped green chillies, onions and MW for another 2 to 4 mins.
3. Then add chopped tomatoes, mix the contents well and MW for about 3 mins.
4. Finally add a can of Chickpeas and season with salt, turmeric, red chilli powder and garam masala. Mix well and MW for 5 to 6 minutes untill tender.

This curry doesn't have a gravy like consistency. Its more dry ideal for making any kind of wraps.

For making wraps:

1. Take a Tomato wrap ( or any kind of wraps - Spinach would taste good too!), in the center place the chole mixture, top with few lettuce leaves.
2. Lightly season with green chilli sauce and hot n sour sauce.
3. Wrap these up and cut into two halves and Serve.

Verdict: Simple, Healthy and Surprisingly Yummy.

Hope U all had a wonderful New Year bash!
