Friends, here I am celebrating love & compassion with you all, with some "Decadent Dairy-Free Chocolate Truffles". All you need is 1 min of prep work and these babies are ready, by the next day. If you a chocoholic or a non-chocoholic (like me), these vegan truffles are a must try and will be a big hit, anywhere and everywhere.
Love the background & the photographs. I always would think that you need the heavy cream with the choc. to make truffles and I kept putting it off as I never have it when i want to make it. These are so cute. I do a similar thing for kids, but not in truffle shape. just melt (with oil as u did ) and mix toasted nuts with it - chunky choco and nuts clusters. or add crushed ice cream cone sometimes :-) Sorry for taking up ur space to write a recipe :-)
Soma - Even I had a feeling that the truffles wouldn't taste good w/o the cream. but I was totally wrong. Thanks for the idea of mixing nuts right into the chocolate mixture. yum yum.
Pavani - Thanks Pavani. same to you too. Hope you had a good one.

I just learnt how to make chocolate truffles too, they are so easy it is unbelievable! I put a splash of brandy in mine to give them a bit of a kick.
ReplyDeleteKalva - Ooo, I love both Lindt and Ghirardelli. nice quality of chocolate they have. Isn't it :-).
ReplyDeleteKatia - Really, these are so easy-peasy, yet so sensuous & exotice. I am sure brandy would give a nice kick to them. will try next time, I have some.
