It has been an absolute pleasure to see a variety of recipes drop into my inbox specially made for Weekend Herb Blogging # 352 all through the week. Thanks to Haalo for the opportunity to host this week's edition..:-)
Let's dig into the entries (in no specific order). Shall we?
I love copy-cat recipes. I think they are the best way to enjoy a restaurant-style meal right in our kitchen, in turn reminiscing the moments we spent in the past. Janet of "The Taste Space" creates Macro Veggie and Tempeh Bowl with Miso Tahini Sauce (Aux Vivres Copy Cat), a great attempt I must say.
With flavors like tomatoes, fried eggplant, grated ricotta salata cheese, basil and served in pretty glasses, these "Norma nel bicchiere - Norma in a glass" by Cinzia look super fantastic.
Herbs are a delight to cook with and anything & everything when made into a chutney is delicious. Lata of "Flavours and Tastes" send her Koththumalli Thokku (Corainder Chutney) for WHB. Yum!
Pudina a.k.a Mint is known for its flavor and unique aroma. Priya of Soups of Sights sends her beautiful Pudina Rice, which is made quite often in many Indian households.
Johanna of "Green Gourmet Giraffe" made Spicy Pea Curry inspired by one of the pins from Pinterest. Doesn't it look super appetizing. Psst Psst, this is our dinner tonight as well. :-)
To enjoy the seasonal vegetables to the fullest, I say just roast them like Tovah did with her bounty full of tomatoes and basil - Oven Roasted Garlicky Tomato Sauce with Fresh Oregani and Basil
What not to love about this colorful dish - pasta, veggies and loads of herbs with sprinkling of cheese. - Farfalle Peppadew Salad by Chris. :-)
..and finally featuring this super delicious Tropea Onion Tart by Haalo, the one who has been hosting WHB beautifully for so many years.
Hope you all enjoyed these recipes as much as I did!
